1.         The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina, City of Mostar received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of  Pilot Cultural Heritage Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for WORKS NECESSARY FOR ARCHEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS AT THE LOCALITY OF TARA and HALEBIJA TOWERS BY THE OLD BRIDGE IN MOSTAR, NCB 006/2001.

2.         The Project Coordination Unit, established by Borrower, City of Mostar, now invites sealed bids for ARCHAEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS AT THE LOCALITY OF TARA and HALEBIJA TOWERS BY THE OLD BRIDGE IN MOSTAR, NCB 006/2001 comprising the works as follows:

-         Preliminary works;
-        Works on the digging and transport of the soil;
-         Topographic recording;
-         Gauging works. 

3.         Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at PCU - Ul.  Adema Buća 17, 88000 Mostar, BH for a nonrefundable fee of 100 KM for each set.  Payment for bidding document shell be  on account no. : 3381002200330465 at Zagrebačka banka BH d.d. Mostar, with indication PCU of City of Mostar. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.

4.         Bids shall be valid for a period of  60 days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by security of 3.000,00 KM, and shall be delivered to PCU-MOSTAR, Ul. Adema Buća 17, 36000 Mostar, BH or before 19. October, 2001 at 2 p.m. local time, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.

5.         Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidders.
